The Innocent Warrior Project is focused on helping our Service Members--past and present. From advocating for Homeless Veterans to ensuring that no Innocent Warrior is sent to Leavenworth for crimes they did not commit, we are committed to leaving no Service Member behind. Our Warriors have put everything on the line for us: Let's keep faith with them.
For Veterans: We partner with the Metro Public Defenders Veterans' Justice Project to advocate for those who have served. There is saying that we live by every day: No war is over until the last person who has fought in it has passed away. Let us continue to remember the sacrifices our veterans have made. No one should be left behind with the memories of distant war as their only companion.
For today's Service Members: Ordinary Americans are astonished to learn that military defense attorneys, prosecutors, and judges all answer to the same boss, the Service Judge Advocate General. In no other law firm in America – Government or Civilian – is this allowed.
A central part of our mission is communicating the harsh facts of present-day realities to thought leaders. We can't do bring the message to Americans who need to know the truth without your help. What fuels us is our love for our fighting men and women and the conscience of those who understand that their sacrifices have been for us.
If you have any venues, groups, or individuals with whom I could share our message, please let me know by sending me an email to email@example.com.
You have a central role in allowing The Innocent Warrior Project to do our work. By rule, we devote 95% of all donation to veteran advocacy. We need your help to build that capability. The fact that innocent Service Members are living on the streets or going to Leavenworth because we can't be bothered to contribute a few minutes or our time speaks poorly of us as a Nation.
Every penny is scrutinized and none are wasted. We are organized under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, we have no paid staff, we don't have paid staff to fundraise. Our board members – Father Philip Waibel, OSB and Mr. Troy Hall – are men of tremendous conscience and integrity who are experienced in managing non-profits. No one in The Innocent Warrior Project receives any compensation for our duties.
Our beneficiaries – Innocent Service Members – are entirely dependent on the generosity of those private citizens and companies who value our Warriors’ service and sacrifices.
